台中捷運工程工安意外於4月10日發生後全線停工至今仍未復工，由於中捷是由台北市捷運局負責監造及施工，台中市議會國民黨團書記長楊正中今天在台中市議會聯席審查會中指出，一定要柯文哲親自到議會向議員報告後，才准中捷工程復工。
民進黨團書記長邱素貞指出，台中捷運工程發生工安意外後停工已兩個月，柯文哲13日來台中視察工地，承諾儘速補齊復工計畫資料，盼工程儘早復工，而中市府則堅持，「安全不能打折！」。
邱素貞表示，中捷再不復工，沿線商家生意掉一半，許多工程包商家庭生計受影響，民眾希望「趕快復工，不要擺爛！」，她憂心一直停工下去的話，恐怕到最後市民會怪罪在市長林佳龍的頭上，希望在不影響公安前提下，應儘速復工。
對於藍營議員堅持要柯文哲親自到議會報告才准復工，台中市議會民進黨團總召陳淑華認為，如果柯文哲本人也不反對到議會報告的話，她歡迎柯文哲前來。
台中市交通局長王義川指出，既然市議會有做出決議要求台北市政府前來報告中捷案，站在市府的立場，將居間協調北市府派員到市議會向台中市議員說明。1040615
